Drain cleaning is the process of removing the buildup, grease, hair, roots, and debris that slow or block the pipes carrying water out of your home. At JTM Plumbing & Drain, we clear kitchen, bathroom, floor, and main drains across Gretna and Omaha, usually same day, and we quote an honest, flat price before any work begins.
A slow drain rarely fixes itself, and a full backup never does. Since 2004, our team has cleared thousands of drains across the metro the right way, not just punching a hole through the clog, but clearing the line wall-to-wall so it stays open. Any job, any size, done right. Call Gretna (402) 203-6193 or Omaha (402) 933-3690.

Older Omaha neighborhoods (Dundee, Benson, downtown) still run cast-iron and clay sewer lines that scale up and crack with age, and the metro's mature trees send roots straight into those joints. Newer Gretna, Elkhorn, and Papillion construction runs PVC, which clogs less but still catches grease and "flushable" wipes (they aren't). Our hard water also leaves mineral scale that narrows pipes over time. We know which problem to look for by where you live, and we carry both cable machines and a hydro jetter so we can match the tool to the line.
Clearing drains across Gretna and the Omaha metro.
Quoted before we start, no surprises.
On recurring or mainline clogs.
Backed on all our work.

In the sink, tub, or shower, usually a partial clog building up.
From drains or the toilet, often a venting or blockage issue.
A mainline sign. Call right away, this can flood the lowest level of the home.
No matter how often you plunge it. We run a camera to find the real cause.
If more than one fixture is backing up, that points to the main line, don't wait, because a mainline backup can flood the lowest level of the home. Water damage gets costly fast, so don't hesitate to pick up the phone.
Same-day service is prioritized. We find the clog and its cause, running a camera if it's recurring.
You approve a flat price before we start, then we clear the line wall-to-wall with cabling or hydro jetting, whichever the line needs.
We test the flow, clean up, and back the work with our 5-year warranty.
Every plumbing job is a little different, so we don't post one-size-fits-all prices. We give you an honest, flat-rate quote up front, before any work begins, with no surprises and no pressure. Larger projects can be financed through Hearth (0% for qualified buyers). Call for a free, no-obligation estimate: Gretna (402) 203-6193 or Omaha (402) 933-3690.
Everything you need to know about our services and process. If you can't find your answer, feel free to reach out to our team.
Every job is priced individually, so we give you a flat, upfront quote before any work begins, with no surprises. Financing is available through Hearth for larger projects.
Most single-drain clogs are cleared in 30–60 minutes. Main line clogs and jetting jobs take longer, usually 1–2 hours.
Snaking (cabling) is perfect for most clogs and is the lower-cost option. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the full pipe wall and is the right call for heavy grease, recurring clogs, or root intrusion. We'll recommend the lighter option whenever it will do the job.
Repeat clogs usually mean buildup on the pipe walls, a partial root intrusion, a venting issue, or a pipe-slope problem, not a one-off blockage. We run a camera to find the real cause so you stop paying for the same clog twice.
Yes. We prioritize same-day drain service across Gretna and Omaha during our business hours (Mon–Fri, 7 AM–5 PM). Call first thing and we'll do our best to get you on the schedule the same day.
